“Tis the Season to be Jolly!”
To countdown for Christmas Day, I decided to bake (unsurprisingly!!). I decided to make Christmas Tree Baileys Cupcakes. When I think of the creamy Irish Whiskey liqueur, Christmas time comes to mind. To shout out CHRISTMAS even more, I thought it would be a nice idea to incorporate Christmas tree into the bake.
I made the cupcakes using a simple chocolate cake recipe and added a couple of teaspoons of Baileys to the mixture. To make the Christmas Tree, all I did was colour the buttercream (flavoured with Baileys) green and used a star tip nozzle and piped the buttercream in an upwards spiral. I used confetti sprinkles and pearl sprinkles and added a white chocolate star on top.
